Bath Racing Kennel (BRK) - was founded in 1998, coincidently that was the same year Jerry turned the big “40″.
Having been raised on a cattle ranch, Jerry was born into the outdoorsy way of life. In 1994 we left that life and move from northern California to the middle of Wyoming. After a couple of years of working inside our shop (www.JBsWildWyoming.com) the outdoorsy guy was going nuts. When we left the ranch, we left the horses. Jerry broke and trained most of those horses. So, working with the dogs just came naturally.
When Jerry is not training/ running dogs he is at his business. JB’s Wild Wyoming, Inc. is a company that wears many hats; Game Processing, Publishing Company, and a Parody line (www.ForestCircus.com). Game season starts right when Jerry really needs to be in the swing of training with the his teammates. So, our kennel always gets a late start (Nov.) in the conditioning game. BRK is not a big kennel, we have 20 -26 dogs at any given time. We like it that way!
Jokingly you will hear me, Sandy refer to myself as the “glorified pooper scooper”. I love that Jerry has a passion for sledding. He finds peace and harmony in so many ways when he runs dogs. Massaging and caring for the dogs while we are on the road for races is something I enjoy. We raise 98% of our dogs from birth and the others come to our home at a few months old.
